Geolocator

Description

Geolocator GeoC is a portable Long Range Target Observation and Target Acquisition Multi Function binocular with a digital day channel, a cooled high resolution MWIR thermal imager along with a laser range finder, GPS, inclinometer and magnetic compass all integrated into one compact system. The system can be used as a standalone hand-held unit with integrated binocular eyepiece, can be operated remotely from a post or as a vehicle mounted system.

A cooled MWIR imager with high sensitivity provides crisp images for night time and poor weather scenarios.

The LRF is safe under all conditions and provides accurate ranging. The ranger finder combined with the GPS and integrated compass enables accurate target geo-location.

It images simultaneously in the visible and midwave IR spectrum providing fused imagery with enhanced situational awareness. The system can recognise targets in day, night, poor weather and obscurant conditions.

It is designed for both military and security applications, including infantry, special forces, forward observers, border and coastal surveillance, police and law enforcement units.
