Long Range Cooled LWIR Thermal Imaging Binocular
Gazehound is a cooled LWIR high resolution thermal imaging portable device ideal for challenging land and border surveillance. The system can be used as a standalone handheld / tripod mount unit with integrated biocular eyepiece or on a pan/tilt for remote monitoring and surveillance purposes. A cooled LWIR sensor with high sensitivity provides crisp images in day & night conditions.
Gazehound with a remote control package from Tonbo can be controlled remotely via Ethernet over wired / wireless connectivity. The remote control package includes a pan / tilt, display console and optional wireless receiver and transmitter.
The remote console is provided with a very advanced C2 software for remote control of the one or more such camera systems. The C2 software is integrated with GIS capabilities enhancing remote operation experience with better situational awareness and reducing reaction time.
It is designed for both military and security applications, including infantry, special forces, forward observers, border and coastal surveillance, police and law enforcement units.
