AI Enabled EO IR Seeker Platform
Trap1-128 is Tonbo Imaging’s indigenous, AI-enabled dual-band electro-optical/infrared seeker for precision-strike munitions. It combines a co-aligned visual-band imager and an uncooled long-wave infrared (LWIR) thermal imager behind a common aperture, built from special materials and coatings transparent to both spectral bands — delivering a single, parallax-free line of sight to the target across day, night, haze, smoke and battlefield obscurants.
Onboard AI-based automatic target recognition detects, classifies and locks onto the designated target, then tracks it to impact — through manoeuvre, aspect change and partial obscuration. Dual-band signature discrimination rejects flares and decoys, and because the seeker is fully passive, it is immune to RF jamming and navigation spoofing in the terminal phase. Fire and forget: once released, the launch platform is free to manoeuvre, re-engage or egress.
Trap1-128 is designed for integration on missiles, jet-powered munitions and glide bombs, bringing terminal precision against targets that RF seekers cannot acquire — low radar-cross-section vehicles, small fast-moving platforms and camouflaged armour. Designed and built in India under Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
