Enhanced Driver Vision
Darkstar is a high quality, low cost & compact 360° vision camera system for situational awareness for land vehicles. It increases tactical situational awareness of crew inside new or upgraded armoured personnel carriers and closed hatch vehicles.
It is designed as a single LRU, an all integrated sensor and electronics package easy to integrate and install on land systems.
With onboard video processing it generates real-time video imagery from multiple high-resolution low lux CMOS imagers providing real time high frame rate all surround imagery around the vehicle.
The 360° imaging is integrated with a tablet computer and also with holographic head mounted displays with an integrated head tracker.
It also features an integrated GPS and inbuilt video recorder to archive geotagged videos.
Darkstar is ideal for autonomous systems and manned systems like automotive, armored vehicles and robotic platforms.
