BNVD
Night Vision Aviator Goggles
BNVD is a lightweight, binocular night vision device designed for land forces and for aviators for flying at night. Each monocular consists of an eye piece, an image intensifier assembly, an eyepiece assembly. The BNVD can be used as helmet-mounted, head-harness mounted, hand-held and monocular (either goggle up / down) configurations.
The goggles are compatible with a quick release adjustable mounting device, using the dovetail slide or other mounting recess for fast mount/release action. Its made of rugged metal housing with a build in battery compartment and easy to use control panel. The goggles also include an IR LED and high light cut off sensor.
BNVD is powered by single “AA” size (1.5VDC) alkaline/lithium battery or by single CR123A (3VDC) lithium battery with a low battery indicator.
It is a smart device with sensors sense inactivity and it automatically shuts OFF power, when the BNVD in a deployed or viewing position.
It is compatible with most ACH, MICH and Aviation helmets with a standard dovetail slide or other interfaces, such as US-style interface.
