Vision Image Processor (VIP-ST-TX) is a state of the art video processor with very powerful GPU for general purpose image processing. It is equipped to perform advanced HD video image processing including video stitching, electronic stabilisation, video multi sensor fusion and target tracking.
It is capable of ingesting video feeds from analog sources and digital sources including many interfaces like GigE, USB3.0, HD-SDI etc. The system can take inputs from upto 8 analog sources and 4 digital sources.
It can stitch multiple video feeds with different selectable imaging transforms. The stitching involves not only image alignment but also image blending and gamma and color correction across video frames.
It can correct shaky videos captured from Aerial or moving ground platforms while maintaining the intended motion (including zoom) intact.
It also has advanced adaptive pixel level sensor fusion to fuse imagery in real time.
The tracker on VIP is designed to address the needs of both ground based and aerial platforms. It incorporates on-board serial links allowing it to interface to most platforms and is designed for easy configuration and device control. It has standard to most sophisticated tracking algorithms implemented including Multiple, Moving Target Indicator (MTI), Normalized Cross Correlation, Centroid, Edge and Tonbo’s proprietary for most challenging conditions.
At a time multiple algorithms can run simultaneously.
